Welcome, I am Steve Falkner, the Author of Blackjack for the Casual Player.

I wrote Blackjack for the Casual Player at the urging of friends as my methodology was highly successful at the Blackjack tables.  This methodology is based on Knowledge and Discipline that allows any player to be completely relaxed at the tables and most important to be in complete control of your money and your results.

I shall be sharing my thoughts about Blackjack triumph, and how the basis of my methodology can help you with other elements of your life specifically making and attaining your goals, developing discipline and of course money management.

Knowledge of the game and how to properly play it is essential.  Learn Basic Strategy perfectly because if you don’t you will be just giving your money to the casino’s.  They love uneducated players.

Learning Basic Strategy looks difficult but once you get into it you will find you can master it in a short time.  These tables are found on the internet or in the appendix of the book I wrote.  I would suggest that you initially learn the hands that are not pairs or contain an ace.  Once mastered that part of the game, learn how to play when dealt a matching pair and finally learn the correct moves should your hand contain an ace.  Just remember you should know it 100% prior to betting any money.

I am very sensitive to losing your money unnecessarily.  Learn how to play properly and constantly review your knowledge to ensure that you still have it down perfectly.  I have been playing for far too many years to remember and I still review the hands primarily because I play infrequently.  To learn and later review I made my self “flash” cards that you may have used in little school.  I find it is a great and easy way to review and keep me on top of my game.
